Klehm (1963) A great peony. There has never been anything so beautiful and pure as the Bowl of Cream. The very large buds produce flowers 20 cm in size and the foliage is a beautiful dark green. Highly recommended for gardens and parks. However, does not display many flowers, but the price of the flowers makes up for it. The stems are so large and strong that the large flowers remain proud and upright. A deserved winner of the APS gold medal in 1981.
