Klehm, R.G. (1980) Cheddar Surprise grows in the middle of the season. It is a semi-double peony that becomes more double as it gets older. It has a white colour but also looks yellow thanks to its stamens. With a dark green crop underneath, really a picture. Is slightly fragrant and does not produce side buds. Sturdy long stem.
