White / Wild & Son (1954) Claire de Lune is a light cream-yellow single peony. The petals are well rounded, slightly wrinkled and form a large cup-shaped flower of great beauty. The numerous stamens are yellow and lie on a plate of petals. Claire de Lune gets long stems and are thin, but powerfully stiff. The leaves are pink in spring. It is a fast grower and carries a pleasant, sweet scent.
