Hollingsworth (1984) Garden Treasure is a beautiful yellow Itoh hybrid with red highlights, a dark heart and semi-double to double flowers. Partly due to the soft lime-scented, large flowers, it is recommended for gardens and parks. Garden Treasure flowers easily and is rich in flowers that rise well above the plant with dark leaves. In the mid-late season a beautiful plant for both solitary and group plantings. Garden Treasure also retains a great ornamental value after flowering because the foliage gives autumn shades in the autumn until the arrival of frost. APS Gold Medal winner 1996.
